Adela DANAJ is a very active and dynamic individual, goal oriented and ambitious. After completing her first Bachelor Degree in Stomatology, she realized that her intention was to work in the field of the health services sector. In order to achieve this, she decided to pursue a second Bachelor degree in Political Sciences at the European University of Tirana, graduating with Cum Laude. Her undergraduate studies have provided her interesting insights into the different aspects of political fields and society and have reinforced her interest in pursuing an academic and professional career in politics with a particular focus on issues of good governance and democratization. Recently, she has been engaged as a research assistant for the UET Centre and as a researcher for UET Research Group, a research hub within the university, and she has been working on projects related to political communication and nationalism in Albania and the region as well as in projects focusing on the role of integration processes in democratization and regional cooperation in the Balkans. In addition she has completed a research project that investigated the voting behavior of students in Albania.

Blerina LLALLA is a young motivated artist. She graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Tirana, where she received a degree as a Painter. Afterwards, she attended a master course in Fashion Design at Instituto Superiore di Design (ISD), Naples, Italy. Upon return to Albania, Blerina has been involved in the civil society sector, and she has been part of several trainings and conferences. She completed two internships, one on the support of the Albanian Students around the World Union, As@n, and the other at the Department of Education, Culture and Foreign Relations in the Regional Council of Elbasan. At the same time she has been collaborating with National and International NGO-s as a volunteer, board member and project coordinator. These projects were focused on youth activism, cultural heritage, artists promoting and natural resource management, on sustainability issues. For some time now, she is working as a project coordinator at one of the Albanian State departments. As a young motivated citizen, interested in political, social and public issues, she attended other courses of politics and diplomacy. Blerina continuously works on different socio – cultural projects and programs, which aim at exposing and handling the problems facing young Albanians nowadays.

Brenton KOTORRI is a young activist form Albania. He started his civic engagement at the age of 15, first at several NGOs and the Youth Parliament. As a student he initiated and organized different leadership trainings, youth assemblies, forums, and projects; organizes TEDxEuropianiTiranës, etc. In 2013 he was selected among seventy worldwide Human Rights activist that participated in the 9th UNESCO Forum. Brenton is also one of the founders of the National Youth Congress of Albania. He recently translated into Albanian two major political philosophy works, Benedict Anderson’s Imagined Communities, and Thomas Paine’s Common Sense. Currently he is a MSc student of International Relations at the European University of Tirana. Has serving as an intern at the MFA of Albania, FES Tirana. Furthermore, Brenton is the Albanian representative of the Youth Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Elena PICI, is a young motivated professional with three years of experience in project management, people management and strategy development. She graduated with honors in Economics at Epoka University, and at the same time she is following successfully her last year of Bachelor Studies in Law, at the University of Tirana. She is characterized by a proactive approach, analytical skills, and willingness to accept new challenges. Being passionate about making a difference, having an impact and networking, Elena started her active civil engagement as the co-founder and executive director of AIESEC Albania, branch of AIESEC International, the worlds’ largest students-run organization. After some experiences in the private sector (Raiffeisen Bank, EOS Albania, Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria etc.), she currently works as Program Coordinator at Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

Flutura GJANA is a student at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, currently pursuing a MSc in economic engineering. Recently she participated in two international conferences, the 6th International Conference of Textile and the International Conference on Challenges of Sustainable Development. In cooperation with her professor she published two research papers in academics proceeding books. During her bachelor studies, Flutura engaged in various activities outside the school curricula. She was part of the world’s largest students-run organization AIESEC Albania as vice president of Marketing and Communication and also part of the organizing team for Youth to Business forum. She conducted a three-month internship at Vodafone Albania. Since 2013, Flutura has volunteered by helping children with special abilities, organizing educational activities and entertainment for them.

Gerion TRESKA is a young passionate business founder, specialized in marketing and business development. The academic experience has been always a good reference in his personal development path, switching between classroom theories to real practice outside the university campus. His education in business management has helped him on his civil society engagements, being part of many projects in the matter, as project manager, project consultant and freelance researcher. His expertize in social business, as a social business consultant and translator of the book of Nobel Peace Prize Muhammad Yunus “Building Social Business”, has encouraged him to promote and bring into life this new tool against poverty in Albania. Mixing the principles, theories and practices of these three main pillars, his mission is driven toward the creation of greater value and qualitative services primarily for the benefits of society.

Jona HOXHAJ, is a Young European from Kosovo, research oriented, currently working at Epoka University, Department of Economics as a research and teaching assistant. She graduated with high honors in Economics at Epoka University and continues her MSc. Studies in Economics at Epoka, working on her thesis related to well being in developing countries. She has actively participated in civil society since she moved to Albania, considering her experience as national support team in AIESEC Albania. Since June 2014 she is advisor of “Young Economists’ Network” founded at Epoka. During her studies she continuously participated in international conferences and published her research papers in academic proceeding books and journals and also has experienced the private sector by participating in some internships in: TEB Bank, ALBtelecom & Eagle Mobile, Accounting Office etc. Before graduation she interned at the Career Office at Epoka University, working as “Career Fair” Organizing Manager. Her experience in the public sector, at the Central Bank of Kosovo was the starting point of her research career, where she started researching in the Department of Economic Analysis and Financial Stability.

Megi LLUBANI is a talented researcher in Social Sciences where she holds a double degree of expertise in Political Sciences and International Relations. Furthermore she obtained a Master of Science in Security Studies from the European University of Tirana. It’s important to mention her international experiences as a Long Term Observer in OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Missions and several conferences and trainings, where the most notables are the Leadership Development Program organized by the European Fund for the Balkans and the College of Europe and the TRAIN Program of the German Council on Foreign Relations, which aimed at fostering policy dialogue between policy researchers and decision makers in the Western Balkans. Her areas of expertise include European Integration, Democratization processes, Gender mainstreaming and the security sector reform in Albania. She has been working in the civil society sector since 2011, most notably at the Albanian Institute for International Studies, one of the leading think tanks in the country. Advocacy and activism are two driving forces of her work and life in general.

Rezarta CAUSHAJ, is a young professional, passionate about diplomacy and philosophy, but with an all time interest in civic engagement. Maybe her best and worst assets are being an avid debater and compulsive critic. She’s currently studying to obtain a Master Degree in International Relations, Diplomacy and EU Affairs at the Institute for European Studies, following her graduation in Political Sciences. Her engagement began very early, starting with becoming a Youth Parliament Delegate in her hometown and later being part of trainings, conferences and having completed two internships, one in the Albanian Parliament and the other at the Eunacal Institute. Some of the highlights of her experience as a young professional are: being chosen to be part of the Leadership Development Programme, an 8 month programme concerned with EU institutions, policies, but also with implementing concrete projects and studying and training in negotiations at the College of Europe and working as a project assistant at the EUNACAL Institute, which conducts studies related to public policies, and at he same time being the Coordinator of the Political Deliberation Clubs. Being part of projects in collaboration with different NGO-s is her way of being an activist and inducing a much needed political culture between young people, but it has also made her very critical of how many NGO’s conduct their activities and how much they compromise their own principles.

Sokol KONDI, MSc. in International Relations, has graduated in Italy, at the University of Bari in 2011. In 2009 he graduated also at the Bari University, obtaining a MA in Culture and Tourism. During his studies, Sokol worked in the marketing sector of Migro Corporation. Before and during his student life he has been working full-time or as a free-lance journalist. Upon return to Albania, Mr.Kondi engaged in the civil society sector, and has been working as marketing and image director of the Albanian National Tourism Agency. Never renouncing though, his passion for honest journalism.
